Refund Policy

Nature of the content

Gawa lessons are digital content. Under Taiwan's rules on exceptions to the distance-sales cooling-off right, digital content counts as fully delivered the moment you unlock, open, or download it, so the 7-day cooling-off period does not apply.

Before unlocking, please review the sample lessons and the level note for a topic. There is also one free lesson each week you can try first.

The only refund case: an unused charge

Refunds apply only to an unused charge. If you were charged (most commonly a monthly subscription that auto-renewed, e.g. an accidental resubscribe) and you have not unlocked or used any lesson within that charge's period, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it (for a subscription, that one month).

If you unlocked or used any lesson during that period, it counts as used and is not eligible for a refund.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel the monthly subscription anytime in My Account. You will not be charged again and keep access until the end of the paid period, with no partial refund.

How refunds are processed

Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method and take about 7 to 14 business days. For a payment error or a service problem, email us and we will help in line with Taiwan's consumer-protection rules.
